Travel By Motorcycle

Travel by motorcycle and discover real freedom. When you travel by motorcycle, you are not a prisoner in a big metal box, but off from everything around you. When you travel by motorcycle, you see and experience the trip and the scenery first hand. When you travel by motorcycle, you are right there in it, not sitting on some big motorized couch watching the world whiz by though the windshield like you are still at home watching your stupid television. When you travel by motorcycle, you really experience the trip. You feel the heat and the cold. You get wet when it rains. Travel by motorcycle may seem a bit inconvenient, but it is really so much more authentic. And travel by motorcycle will ultimately be more rewarding.

Before you set off on your motorcycle travels, there are a few preparations you should make. Of course, you need to verify that your motorcycle is in good working order. Hopefully, you know enough about basic motorcycle mechanics to check your bike out yourself, but it might also be a good idea before you travel,to have your bike completely professionally serviced. Once you know your motorcycle is in tip top shape, you need to pack a few spare parts and tools. Then your motorcycle will be all ready for travel. It is always a good idea to bring along a few basic spare parts as you may have trouble on the road and not be anywhere near a motorcycle shop. Depending on how much space you have, you will at least want to pack some spare cables, spark plugs and a spare chain for your travels. And of course, a complet tool kit and on owner's manual, and a repair guide for you bike. Next you will want to pack the gear you will need for your travel. You will need to consider all the places you will be going when you travel by motorcycle so you can prepare yourself for the different conditions you may encounter.

If your travel by motorcycle will be taking you through the mountains, you will want to be prepared for the changing temperatures and weather conditions. You can go from warm to very cold when climbing to high altitudes and rain or snow can come up quickly in the mountains too. So warm clothes and rain gear are always in order when you travel by motorcycle. If you are planning on camping along the way, you will need to pack camping gear too. When you travel by mortorcycle, space for all the gear and clothes is very limited so you must plan carefully.
