Paris
There are several different things to see when you go to Paris that you may not be able to view them all while on your visit. If you enjoy history you will enjoy a trip to Paris. You must first visit the Eiffel Tower in order to appreciate the beauty of Paris. There you will be able to start your trip off on the right foot. Because it is rich in history Paris also offers several different museums that can inspire you with their history.
The first museum in to see is called Louvre Museum. There are several reasons that this museum is wonderful. The art work displayed at Louvre Museum will be breathtaking. If you are a fan of Leonardo de Vinci's "The Mona Lisa" you will find it here. This museum was built in 1793 and is known as the oldest museum in Europe.
You may also want to visit Musee Rodin while you are in Paris. This museum offers Bronze and Marble sculptures that have been viewed from everyone around the world. See the sculptures up close. These sculptures were the work of Camille Claudel, Monet, Van Gogh, and more. Don't forget to check out the sculptures in the Garden.
You also want to view Musee Picasso. If you want to know more about Picasso you will need to visit this museum. This museum offers about 200 paintings and over 3,000 different drawings. It also displays the art that interested Picasso. Although he was a famous artist he still loved works from other artist.
Palace of Versailles is another enjoyable place to travel to while you are in Paris. There you can see the where Louis XIV lived in order to enjoy the peace and quiet. You can view some of the palace on your own if you are not in a tour group. You can even see where the signing to end World War I took place in the hall of mirrors.
Among the more popular landmarks in Paris are the religious buildings which hold strong value on the cultures of today. One in particular to see is the Sacred-Heart. It was built in order to glorify the "holy heart of Jesus". It's white walls, domes and bell-tower makes it a wonderful sight to see while standing in Paris.
Your trip to Paris would not be complete without a trip to see Arc de Triomphe. These arches are the biggest arches in Europe. Here you can find where the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. You can walk up to the top of the arches in order to view the avenues down below.
The Opera Garnier is another place to see. This historical landmark housed the opera house during the end of the 19th century. It's well known for its staircase and chandeliers that hang in the foyer. It was very popular until another opera house, Opera Bastille, became popular. Today the Opera Garnier is now used for Ballet performances.
Paris has alot to offer those who come to sight see.
