Dining On Bahamas

Bahamas vacation destination Harbour Island offers a wide variety of cuisines and quality dining experiences. International, Bahamian, and American cuisines are readily available throughout the island.

Angela's Starfish Restaurant offers both classic and unique native dishes, Bahamian cuisine and some American foods. The native dishes truly have that authentic quality, and many of the customers seen in eating in the restaurant are local people enjoying the classic favorites. Many of these are based on seafood of various types and cracked conch. The setting is simple, small tables on the lawn with folding chairs, and the food is delicious. Credit cards are not accepted, so you'll need to remember to come prepared to pay cash. The restaurant is open every day, from 7:30am to 8:30pm.

Surf Lessons On Maui

It is safe to say that if anyone visiting Hawaii ever wants to learn how to surf this is the place. There are many different places to take surf lessons while on the island of Maui. My favorite is located in the town of Lahaina. Lahaina is just a short drive from the Kanapali resort area that is the temporary home of many tourists like me. I took a four hour lesson at this cute little place called goofy foot. They came highly recommended by the concierge at the hotel, and I was not disappointed. The surf school required that all students wear a rash guard, which is just a long sleeve neoprene shirt.

A vacation destination for decades, Jamaica is home to a number of quality golf courses. The temperate climate is a welcome part of the golfing experience, as is the general atmosphere of the golf courses, with many being notable for their outstanding customer service focus and their beautifully kept grounds. It should be noted that while many of the golf courses are private, most of the more exclusive facilities do make day passes available for vacationers.

Bora Bora

When you picture yourself taking a vacation, what is it exactly that you see yourself doing? Are you the type who likes to spend their vacation lying around their house, catching up on some housework and all of the latest soap operas and lifetime movies that you missed due to the unfortunate fact of your employment? Do you like to travel into the mountains, living from a tent and catching your dinner, generally enjoying the experience of being completely and totally isolated from the rest of the world? Or are you the type who dreams of spending their vacation lying around on a tropical beach, watching the waves crash and the dolphins dance across the ocean surface while you sip a tropical drink and allow the tensions of your life on the mainland to seep away?
