European Travel

European travel provides a wealth of exciting places to go and fantastic things to see. If you do any serious amount of travel sooner or later, you will want to travel to Europe. Remember that you will need your passport if you are planning European travel. The flight may be long depending on where you are coming from and it may be expensive, but it will be worth it.

European travel is not cheap as a rule. You can find bargains and depending on how you travel, you may not spend a fortune, but you could if you had the means. Europe is many many things. European travel can take you from ultra modern cities to bucolic countryside. When you travel in Europe, you can see medieval history one minute and modern art the next. You can dine of fresh pate in Paris for lunch and be eating Shepherds pie for dinner in London. European travel can be a study in contrasts. You can be in the mountains of Scotland in the morning and kicking back on the beach of Portugal in the afternoon. European travel is many things and most of all it is exciting.

European travel can be very educational too. If you are at all interested in history, Europe will hold more than a little fascination for you. So much of the world's history was played out in Europe that you will find more that enough historic sites to keep you busy for a long time. There are castles from the middle ages to visit. European travel means battlefields from wars ranging from Roman times to World War II to see. There are sites of major political significance to see when you travel in Europe such as the Berlin wall and where the Treaty of Versailles was signed.And with the collapse of Communism and the fall of the iron curtain, there are many many significant sites in Eastern Europe to travel to. But you won't just get a history lesson when you travel to Europe, You can get a great education in Art, Architecture and even Fashion.

If you are interested in Art, European travel is for you. You could spend all of your time in Paris and still not see all the great works of art that are available in that one city alone. And that doesn't even begin to scrape the surface of all the art and art museums there are to see when you travel in Europe.
