There are many reason to travel. You might travel just for the sake of traveling. You might travel to visit someone. You might travel to visit an area or a country. You might travel so you can relax and vacation in a beautiful spot. You might travel for school. These are all great reasons to travel and a lot of people travel for these reasons. But the reason the largest number of people travel is for business. business travel goes on every minute of everyday in every port of the world. Business travel drives the economy.

Without it most business wouldn't get done and that would cause a massive shut down in all the economies of all the countries in the world. business travel has been around since the beginning of time. Way way back when human civilization was young there wasn't much reason to travel. The world was a dangerous and unknown place. But owing to some restlessness of spirit or some need for more food or better living conditions, some people started to travel. Travelers found things in some areas that were not available in other areas so they began to trade and business travel was born. Before lone, trade routes developed and regular commerce was going on between widespread ares. Caravans of trades made their way across continents for business travel. Business travel took people over mountains. Business travel took people across oceans. Business travel took people around the globe.

Modern day business travel is quite different from its early incarnation. Today, much of business travel is done by people working for large multi-national corporations. Their business travel is arranged by corporate travel departments that employ huge numbers of professional people who specialize in business travel. These huge departments do nothing all day but make business travel arrangements for the thousands of corporate employees in the field. Most of their work is done on the computer and by phone. They arrange business travel for salespeople. They arrange business travel for corporate employees going to meetings and trainings. They arrange business travel for corporate executives going to branch offices to check up on the the business operations. They even arrange business travel to exotic locales where corporate board members must conduct important meetings at luxurious resorts.

There are may types of business travel, but the huge amount spent on business travel is in and of itself a vital business. Business travel has become the mainstay of the airlines and source of a huge amount of the hotel industry;s income so that now without business travel, business might not exist.
