Whenever you hear the word "Aspen", your mind immediately conjures up images of a bustling city cozily nestled between mountains covered in snow and trees. A popular ski resort, Aspen was not always what it is now. During Colorado's Silver Boom, Aspen was among the many founded as a mining camp. Later on, however, the call of the slopes became too much and it was not long afterwards that the city became a tourist hotspot, attracting many hotel chains to establish their business there.

Among the hotel companies that managed to find their way to Aspen is the Aspen Hotel Group. Starting out at first as a group of industry professionals who specialize in investments, the Aspen Hotel Group was formed in 1989 with the old name of Aspen Mortgage. Using fast and creative methods of acquisition, the Aspen Mortgage soon grew to become a leader in development financing.

The Aspen Hotel Group and Aspen Capital Partners were subsequently formed with their own respective niches in the investment market. Aspen Hotel Group specialized in the hospitality industry while Aspen Capital Partners in operating businesses.

The Aspen Hotel Group has successfully financed, developed, acquired, and operated hotels nationwide. They have hotels all over the states and even outside the US, including Alaska, Colorado, Argentina, etc.
